Anne is a licensed architect with twelve years of diverse project experience. She earned her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Texas in 2010. During her seven years in New York City, she worked on residential, commercial and institutional projects, including adaptive reuse of historic structures. For Lake Flato Architects in San Antonio, she directed ground-up projects on university campuses, including two academic laboratory buildings at Cornell University currently under construction. While there, she also coordinated the firm’s internal research program, focused on building and advocating ecologically and socially sustainable practices. This work led her to pursue a master’s degree in geography at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Her research interests include the intersection of public investment, private redevelopment, and the human displacement that often follows.
